Creme Brulee: A Moment In Time

Right now, I really wish I was sitting at a table with a fancy tablecloth and dinner service getting ready to chip my way through a creme brulee. Of course, that’s what helped me to gain seven pounds while on my cruise…

Stingray City

The second neatest thing about Grand Cayman, besides the turtle farm, was Stingray City. I haven’t yet gotten my photos back from the underwater camera out at Stingray City, but I do have this shot taken from the side of the boat before I hopped in to snorkel the water: Yes, the grey blob is a massive stingray. Carnival Legend

I talked earlier about my amazing trip to the Western Caribbean. You’ll see more posts about it in upcoming days, so I thought I’d lay out the itinerary for you. We were on the Carnival Legend cruise ship. 29 January 2011: We left the minute after midnight on the morning of the 29th to drive from Iowa to Tampa, Florida. It was a long drive, but we stopped for the night in Valdosta, Georgia to break up the trip a bit. The boys also had to stop at the first Waffle House amid girly...
