Our Yard | Fountain Update

Posted by on 3 Jul 2011 in Gardening, our yard, outdoors | 0 comments

We’re having an issue figuring out what to do with our fountain. My most recent possibility is to tile the portion of the fountain that is that painted cement facing and the “floor.” I looked at the white-painted cement and it is flaking in places. I really don’t want to chip it all off, paint it again, and have it chip off on me. I’m going with a Tuscan-themed backyard, so I think I could pull off some interesting subdued tile. I’m also interested in finding one of those tall and slender squat-based pots (like this one) and seeing if I can fit my pump into it. Or perhaps I can find someone locally to make one for me (then they could insert a hole for the water tube, too). …Anyway… I ramble. I’m still trying to figure out what we are going to do here.
